are all in plus the rear main seal. No issues (finally). After the initial bump to start the crank turning (11 ft. pounds), the engine turns over with 7-8 ft pounds of constant force.

I'll degree the cam tomorrow.

Lined up the dots on the sprockets and the cam was at 118*. Had to drill the cam sprocket and install the offset bushings. I finally got the cam installed at 111*.

111 deg centerline, wow. Most NA motors make best power around 99-104. I guess you are figuring this based on turbo wanting much later events. I'd love to hear your thinking on this.

Yes, the cam is turbo based. It was ground on a 114 center line. Cam mfr recommended install at 112 but I wanted it closer to 110 installed.

Keep in mind that at least for NA Slant cams, all of the cam manufacturers apparently recommend about 2-4 deg more LSA than is best, and about 4-8 deg more retarded than is best. You are wise to advance it some, and could probably go further. Of course, the turbo may throw all this out the window, so have fun experimenting!

PS, our turbo Dart ran a 11.04 @ 124 today w/ 8 lbs

Didn't push it all today. 28* total - 95 octane fuel - my 575 BT Demon - shifting at 5500 and spinning. A/F was around 11.5 all day. It was a hoot. And it didn't beat the Slant yet! It will next time out though. The whole setup worked good. Now to get mine lower into the 10's!

Piston to valve issues on the exhaust. Only .075" clearance...need another .025" min. Simple fix, ordered thicker gasket and turn the boost up a little more!!!!

Intake had tons of room.

Stock rocker arm measured to a 1.39 ratio. Exhaust Lift ended up being .442 vs .479 with a 1.5.
