The new motor for my car will bee done on the stand ex cludeing rockers and push rods this weekend.Motor in car running pefect,,,,think I can get 1 more thurs nite to try and get more out of it,I hate pulling a perfectly great motor,running a best of 8.06 in the 1/8th.I just think there is a 7.99 there.That would leave me getting rockers push rods, motor in car the following week.Hopefully have it sorted enough to make some passes and break in on the 12th.Go run the snot out of it on the 19th and then prep for Vegas.Thats the plan that could go south quickly.If I show up in the SANDSTONE car my plans didnt work out.Guzzi Mark

It was good to get out there and watch you make some passes. I'm sure you will get the motor ready and in the car for Vegas. Yes it would be great to see get that sub 8.00 pass with the current motor. You are so close.

Ron,plan on getting a call for some help,I am going too run it 1 more time,with muffler and higher octane,AND pushing the shifter with a deeper detent.Thanks for comming out,I enjoy your company.Guzzi Mark

Very happy with new motor,has gone 7.25 in the 1/8th,11 97 in the 1/4.There is a little more in it.Will bee trying a different carb next week.Mark
