What rear axel and auto tranny would be in a 65 convertable valiant with a V8. Also in would it be the bigger drum breaks or just the 9inchers?

7¼" with 2.93 ratio, A904 automatic, 10" drum brakes.

If it was a real late year build (Jun/Jul 66) and came equipped with a 4 speed, it might have had an 8.75 with assorted gear ratios. I've parted out 2 late year Dar GTs (6/29 and 7/23) both with 273/4 barrels, both with 4 speeds and both with 8.75s and 3.23s (1 Sure Grip the other with no Sure Grip).
