Currently an ex-friend is angry at me and tampered with my 225 slant six, now I am faced with having to fix it, or fix him, whichever works, Let me give the lowdown.

Supposedly from what i heard he messed around with my starter, but the starter runs fine for a fact, After jumping the battery with a different car I could start it up, I drove it around and let it idle for 5 mins, I turned it off and tried to start the car back on, and it just clicks, I looked under the hood and found nothing starter related that was disconnected, or missing, and I also found that the main ground connection that goes onto the battery terminal is grounded to the block of the engine.

Another thing to add is that when i started the car up and drove it around the altimeter on the cluster wasn't Charging or Discharging, the needle isnt even moving. So that brings the alternator into question. If anyone has any suggestions, advice, or comments, on to help me fix this problem, or fix the moron who did it, I would gladly appreciate it.

I already called a detective into it so I don't like the idea of touching the car until it gets looked into.

While you are waiting on the police to do their job check the manual. After the police are done go over the entire vehicle closely. He should at least be charged with vandalism. If it were the brakes he should be charged with reckless endangerment.I am glad to hear you are letting the police deal with the problem.Dealing with the problem yourself only gets you in trouble.

Good news, he hasnt done anything to my cara, it was just a dead battery, so i had to get a new one because the other is past its life.

A detective had a chit chat with the moron, so he should get the picture.

I'm glad to hear that your ride is okay.
In my opinion, you took care of this the right way. Anybody, including myself, would be pi$$ed if some individual would mistreat one of our toys. However, you handled this situation sensibly. Hats off to ya!
