OK, I've seen the thread asking about which is the best intake to use for fuel injection. And I've read the DiBiase article on batch fire injection using GM electrical stuff.
I have on hand a couple of the aluminum 1-barrel intakes - both off 82 Dodge trucks. Would either of these be good for getting the drilling/machining done to install the screw in type injector bungs? Or should I look around for a cast iron intake?
Not planning on turbo or anything like that. Just want to improve driveability and pick up some mpg if I can.

I am sorry no one with knowledge of these manifolds has spoken up yet. It seems as if a one barrel might be a bit small unless you machine out it for a TB of some kind. I would assume you could machine it for an adapter of some kind, but you would have to make this custom, I think.

Also, some of the aluminum Mopar manifolds developed leaks. I don't know if these are among those. Maybe someone with specific knowledge will come forth. I used an Offenhauser manifold, which might be hard to find these days. See if you can get Clifford to respond. I understand they have been little slow lately. Also, look on e-bay and see if you can find an Offy manifold there.
