 Post subject: Raising a D 150

Anyone one raise their D-150? I have a 1982 D-150 that was saggy in the rear. I threw in an add-a-leaf in the back and a 1" rubber spacer in the front. It works, rides a bit rougher without a load in it, but I wonder what other options are out there.

I think that 3/4 ton springs could be used which presumably would lift it. What about 1 ton springs, etc? How much of the D series is "plug and play" across the 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 1 ton for suspension stuff?

when i raised back of mine ...i got another set of springs and built my own spring stack...rode a bit rough empty...but could load a ton and not drop more than an inch

a good spring shop can re arch springs..... body lift kits are out there
