Anybody know what the final finish grit stones on the bores should be for the Wiseco rings?
There was no literature specifying this- 85 (600 grit) or 65 (400 grit)? on an SK10 machine.

My machinist wants to know what stone Wiseco recommends,
he said normally 65 for street and 85 for strip, I just wanted to verify if any one knows this info as it is too late to call.

Of course that means I want a 75 right LOL

P.S.
Joshua if you read this- Hone plate will be shipped to your machine shop 9:00 am tomorrow, the guy wants to let the block cool down with it on.

Don't quote me but IIRC 1st run is 280 grit followed by 400 grit. I think plateau brush was mentioned. This is what Wiseco folks told me after I bought Guzzi Mark's .45 over slugs. Someone chime in and confirm.

Depends more on what type of ring material you are using, not the brand. Stainless, moly, chrome, cast, etc....
