I have restored many gm and fords, but just donot understand why patch panels are so costly for 64 dart gt. Maybe just not looking in right places.

Rick, how are you defining "so expensive"? Keep in mind the demand is much greater for Chevrolet and Ford parts than for Mopar parts. In your position, I would be thankful to be able to get patch panels at all.
