I can't seem to get my speedometer light to stay on. It didn't work at all for a while until I got around to pulling the instrument cluster. All other gauges and lights are worked and continue to work fine. I cleaned all grounds and contacts before putting it back together. It worked for 10 minutes, then went out. I took apart, cleaned and re-lubed the light switch assy and it worked again for about 1 hour before going off. Since then it has been intermittent.

It's got to be a bad ground someplace but I've run out of places to look. Anyone else had a similar problem?

Yes on my '63 Dart, I cleaned the posts and the circuit strips then soldered next to the point where they are physically connected. Hope this helps.

I agree with Fopar. I also had a bunch of bulbs that weren't working on my '67 Barracuda, but only one or two were burned out. I soldered each pin at its base, where it contacts the circuit board. I used a 3M pad to clean the area around each bulb socket, and the pins on the socket themselves. Now they all work perfectly. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a shot.
