Are the Wiseco Pistons and K1 connecting rods still available to anyone's knowledge?

How do those connecting rods compare to the originals? Night and day?

They are lighter and stronger. If you are not making big HP (275+) or trying to turn more than 5500 RPM, then they are probably not needed, though.

Happy building,

Lou

The best thing about the K1 rods is that these are 7.005 long, basically the 198 SL6 rod length. (These rods don't work in a 225, with standard SL6 pistons, you need a shorter piston)

Seeing how hard it is to find 198 con rods and the additional cost to install good bolts and have the rods reconditioned, the K1 - Wiseco "deal" is a pretty good value.
