I recently bought a '66 Dart 270 and the carb shoots a small amount of gas out the top of the accelerator pump. The carb is a Carter BBS with a sticker that reads "Remanufactured by Holley" with a number 64-1206.

So I have a few questions...

1) Rebuilt vs reman carbs?
What exactly (if at all) is the difference between a rebuilt carb and a remanufactured carb?

2) Is this carb worth rebuilding, if so can anybody recommend a good kit?

3) If its not worth rebuilding, where can I find a good replacement? Possible to find one in a junkyard and rebuild that?

4) Also, the Holley Reman Catalog lists the BBS as only being used on the 170, is this accurate?

Any suggestions with this accelerator pump would be much appreciated. I should also note that I'm on a budget, and would like to spend less.
