I wanted to see if anybody here had any pics of their valve cover on their slant(s) that they would like to show off. Stock color, or more decorative.
I was looking through my garage the other day, and I've got 4 extra valve covers. I'm partial to Chrysler Industrial Red, but I was thinking about a metal flake, or maybe a silver with clear coat.
Let me see what ya'll got! 8)

If you like I'll take a picture of my wrinkle red valve cover even though it's not on an engine. I had to do something with it to make the late flat valve cover interesting.

Yeah, I'd like to see it.
Whether your valve cover is on a car, or not, it doesn't matter. 8)

Wow, what color is that Dick? Is it a metal flake?
Looks cool! 8)
See, this is motivation for me to try a different color on one of my valve covers.

It's a step down from real metalflake, it's a metallic. "Rust-oleum Metallic" by name (rattle can #7252 Racing Green Metallic), got mine at Orchard. I used some of their gloss clear over it as well, done about a year and a half ago.

They make a few other colors in that shelf name as well.

I'm no painter but it's fairly easy to use as long as you don't start out too heavy and wait 5 minutes or so between coats.

Actually, I originally cobbled this rockerbox up in Gray, for Cassandra. but liked it better on the Barn Job.
