I have access to a roll of coated stainless steel 3/8 tubing for my fuel line on my Valiant. My question is this. Is there any good reason not to bring the line from the fuel cell up along the frame on the drivers side instead of the passenger side? This is only if I run an electric fuel pump. If I run a standard fuel pump then of course I would need to come up to the original fuel pump location. Since I am redoing it I can put it in the best location now. I do have good tubing benders as well.

Just wondering,

Rick

Hi Rick,
I don't see any reason why re-routing the fuel line wouldn't work. Sounds like a good idea, in fact. I would think you would pick up less heat in the line since you wouldn't be running so much line along the engine block as on the right side. Just have to watch out for clearance with moving linkages obviously. JMO
