I can't seem to find anything about the proper fuel filler neck grommet for a 1960 Valiant. Anybody got a part number/source/dimensions? The local radiator/gas tank guy said Mopar used the same thing forever, but I haven't been able to find any information verifying that.

Justin.

I tried one of the "problem solver" grommets sold on Ebay as fitting most Mopars from the 60's and 70's. It didn't come anywhere close to fitting my '64 Valiant. The seller did give my money back, and paid for shipping, too.

If you mean the filler pipe to fuel tank gromet, try here.
http://www.quantaproducts.com/products. ... mber=2&sor

Edit: OOOps, just realized you need for a 1960. I might have a new one for a 62, which is different then the 63. Can anyone say if the 60-62 are the same?

It looks like a large o ring, nothing too special.
The 60 and 61 valiant parts books give the original part number as 2073938.

So 60 and 61 are the same, I can't say about 62 or 63 since I do not have those parts books.

62 also has a large "O" ring-- the tanks on the 60/61 are different than the 62-- different trunk structure. try Andy Bernbaum or go to a local rubber place & match it up, Lawrence

This dealer shows as having the 2073938 in stock. I have bought from him, and he is reasonable, and reliable.

This dealer also shows that part in stock. I have found him to be a little pricey.
