The Devil's Own water injection system needs an external map signal to function. I removed the external MAP sensor utilized by Accel, when I made the switch to Mega Squirt, since it has its own, internal MAP sensor. This disabled the water injection. Is there an easy way to get a map signal from MS, or should I simply reinstall the external map sensor? It seems like I remember more than two wires from the Map sensor. There must be a reference voltage, a ground and a signal voltage. The question now is, what is the reference voltage. Is it 12, or 5 like the TPS? And if it is 5 volts, would it be acceptable to pick off the five volt reference voltage from the TPS? Would this have any adverse affects on the signal from the TPS. Remember I am the resident electronic dunce. :? Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Sam

It'll be easier to use the external MAP sensor. The reference voltage is 5 volts, and it's fine to tap the TPS VREF for it.
