Well, if this car is going to be a learning experience, I suggest you take SlantSixDan's advice and purchase and read the three books he references in THIS thread. That should be the FIRST thing you do, even before changing your motor to a Super Six.

My dad has them, im basically watching and hes doing most of the work, showing me where everything is so that next time i know what is where.

oh i am, i am indeed. that was the understanding when i got the car... 'son, im going to teach you ONCE... if you need help on it in the future sure ill give you help... but at that time you are going to be under the car getting cut up and grease in places that it shouldnt be"... and my response was like this *lovingly staring at the car not hearing ANYTHING that is being said*


but its fun to learn all of this stuff...
