Yes the timing mark on the damper is in the correct position. The more I research the car, and the more I think about the conversation I had with the previous owner about its history, I'm starting to believe that the 36000 miles on the odometer might be just that. At least I can check one item off of the mile long list of to dos for this car. next comes the gas tank swap, then the rear suspension.

Lucky you, 36000 miles only! My '77 Wagon has rounded 424.000 km, that is about 200.000 miles more than your F-body, and it is really in need for major work now. Let's both post the upgrades!
