As far as I know all slant sixes are spin on of this vintage.

It does have one, you can see it in the pictures, the other thing is his oil presure gauge. God knows why he has it there.

Temporary only.

It was for making certain of oil pressure prior to starting. It had been sitting 10 years and few starts was reason.

It maintains 30 pounds at warm idle.

Looks correct...this one should have the 11" clutch looking at the bellhousing). I notice most of the early 60's truck blocks have a pad on the oil galley on the block, and been drilled and tapped for a sensor at that location (I have a 1963 D-100 3 Freeze plug special that had this option and makes it pretty easy to run a gauge and the idiot light on the pump without the plumbing and leak nightmare you see on the late blocks).

The reasoning behind this question is I have a 61 and it is drop in cartridge. Check filter in added pictures in link above. g
