Hello, I have an old booster and bracket assembly from a 67 a body.. can i use it on my 68? I do not have the 67 pwr pedal and rod assembly.. can I bolt the booster and bracket assembly directly onto my 68 and use my man MC/pedal rod..

HI. This is not a wise A** answer. If it were me, I would put really good brakes on it, and you will not need the booster. To me, the booster makes a rather poor brake system more unpredictable. I have manual disk brakes, and it is all the braking one would ever need.

When I first got my '69 it had stock 9"" brakes and I hated it. The pedal effort was incredibly high, and you never knew which way it was going to pull. The right shoes on the stock system improved things some. Ask around and see if someone can give you information on what linings require the least pedal pressure. I know the metal linings do not stop well when cold.

I am sorry I cannot answer your question about the booster. It seems to me it should work if you have an adjustable rod.
