Hello, I am new to this site. I wanted to ask a question about electric thermostatic chokes, if thats the right name. Mine i feel is shot b/c when i start the truck it fires right up (after i press the gas the whole way down once before i turn the key). Any how then it idles really rough, almost wants to shut-off but doesn't-sounds like it has a massive cam. Anyhow, then after it warms up it goes into fast idle like it should and kicks down when i bump the gas. My choke has one bolt with a tab opposite and one wire. NAPA sold me the wrong one b/c the brass housing was way too large to fit in/on the manifold and had no wire at all. Anybody know who carries the correct one and possibly the part number?

What kind of carb is this? Holley 1920? Carter BBD?
