Many of you guys do your own alignment? I'm thinking an alignment rack or some sort of setup would be a good investment, not just for the Dart, but for my truck as well. Opinions on good methods to use or the like?

you can get a nice caster/camber gauge and a toe bar for about 200 bucks at most race car suppliers. there are various cheapo tricks you can use as well (like dishwasher soap-soaked folded trash bags under the tyres for turntables) to make things easier. i once alignes a d-300 truck using scrap 2x4s for a toe bar and a magnetic camber gauce and it drove fine. tyre wear was fine after a thousand interstate miles i put on it afterward.
an alignment rack would be nice but cost like 20 grand. i could buy 200 old mopars with that kind of money!

I usually use a tape measure and a 18" level. I can usually get the alignment in within say 1/2 to 3/4 degree. Takes a little geometry to do the math though (toe in of n degrees, given 15" rim...)

If I can afford it, I'll generally have a shop double check it.

I have a Snap-On alignment rack, with Hunter heads, for sale. $600. But shipping from Florida, would be a killer.

P. S. - Charlie, I wish I had my shop built, I'd drive down and pick up that alignment rack. That seems like a pretty good deal.
