Looks like one of the retaining clips that holds the rear e-brake cables to the body broke one leg of the "u"... These clips are similar to the brake hose clips in the later cars, but are narrower in width (inside the "u" and outside overall dimension). On my '67 the cables clip into a bracket below the rear driver's side floor pan (not sure what year they stopped doing this...but the '73-76's don't use this system).

Anyone know a part number I can pull at an auto parts store for this guy
(ie Wagner 1457 is for the brake hoses not these clips).

Have you checked the Help section? It seems to me I remember some store having a Help catalog. Maybe NAPA. There might be a part that you could use if you have dimensions to work from. Can you make one?
