To the best of my knowledge all the clutch release linkage is the same for floor and column shifted cars. I just got to work so I can't take a picture of the clutch linkage on my '66 Barracuda just now. Hopefully I remember to take a picture after work.

Thank you ....................I purchased a Warneford design manifold w/long runners.....3 X 1 3/4 will be the first test on the salt car. Might even take three 2 1/8 SU's . some sort of linkage would be important too. Gotta try every option we can and dyno them. You have played a big part already and are appreciated. At least you can think out of that BOX :D :D
thanks a bunch
MaX

What gets me is the old NASCAR boys were faster than we are today. What are we missing? Reseach, research like to know what they were doing.
Is there a box :?: He He
I would like to see your manifold, going to check out Warnford, I will check on the 2 1/8" carbs also.
As far as the nascar comment. Run what you brung back then. Not so many rules, questions and regulations, just congratulations :!:
Now they put the cork in it with the wees-tricked-her plate racing!!!

To be put in a class is not always good!! Unless you are ready to learn!

Thanks Joshua. The column rods to trans or z bar pics would help.
I will be working on this next week. My standard car has no P/S does yours?

My '66 Barracuda is 3-speed column-shift, manual steering. The 3-speed will be replaced by a 4-speed. I'll send myself e-mail so I remember to take a picture of the clutch linkage.

Hay Josh, whenever you get a chance. I did notice, my 73 column shift car takes up around 3" of the down pipe area vs the automatic. :) I will be back on this header build tomorrow along with many other projects. Thanks for all your help Don :D

My '72 Duster the MP 6into1 wouldn't fit at all. I had 3 on the tree. The Hookers fit after I notched the strut to the tranny. Some of the clutch stuff rubs IIRC.

I'm on the road right now.

Watch where your driving  That info helps Rug the test set should be finished next week. :? The 6 into 1 is a little ways out still. The clifford intake I am using makes things very tight. Calculating as we build, my Duster's manual hook up is just a little different? The rods are under the collum not like Joshua's car to the side. Talk to you all later Don.

Getting ready to finish a few sets of the short 170 65 Valiant configuration!
Image
I changed the front a little after the rear of this set was built.
Image
I will install a P/S box, from the looks of this design should be ok tho!!
Image
Here is where I will cut the pipes back a little for collector mounting.
Image
I hope all had a good x-mas. This year will be better then the last i'm sure.

Even with my Clliffords I had to reroute the trans lines closer to the motor. :D

I agree with Dennis should be re-routed closer to block, best might be under the pan rail
