If I get everything on my truck and trailer straightened out, I'll be there with my stock '68 V200. It will be my first Slant Six Race.

Makes me wish I had the Fury roadworthy be fun to watch some of you 11 sec cars sit for 11 sec. before you get the green! Sadly, one project at a time and the Dart was in the garage first.

Have fun racers!

An FYI for some of you southern racers. Starting this weekend Darlington will be holding Test n tune on Sunday afternoon. 1/4 mile clocks will be on.
Might be a good chance after Wilkesboro to hit their test n tune on the way home!

We have a Wilkesboro near my home in Athens PA. Where is this one? I'd love to get out and see some other slants up close.

We will be there Willksboro is a little Thunder Valley only faster. Got the car to go 8.15 last weekend and hope some more tune might get us about 8.09 at Wilksboro. The car did make several passes at 8.16 and we got down to four cars but a 003 reaction got me there. We will work on our light this wekend and see if we can put a package together. Thanks Possum Parker :D :D

Had the chance to go up to N.Wilkesboro Sat. night and run their normal bracket race. Ron H. showed up as well.

Track was working great! 1.35 60' time!! Had one small shower about 7pm but dried it up and back to racing. Quite a few spectators came by looking at both cars and were interested to hear all of the /6 guys would be there next weekend. Danny mentioned it quite a few times on the PA system as well.

Look forward to seeing everyone Sat. morning at Empire Chrysler!
