Completely stock except for Pacemaker extractors and 2.25 exhaust and standard 2 barrel manifold converted to accept 4 barrel with a Carter 525cfm carb. And 3 on the tree!

More to come soon I hope :D

Would post pictures but can't work out how

Gday John, did you modify the 2 barrel, if so, what did you do?
Cut and weld, machine and drill etc?

Just a standard one from Hemi Performance that they cut and welded on new base to accept the four barrel. Not using anymore as sold carb and gonna use the Aussie Speed new Hurricane blower manifold.

Cheers John

That's some big mph for that ET. 89.5mph is good for a low 15 sec pass. I'm guessing you lost traction off the line.

Yep, that is a hard runner for what you have in it. I don't think the potential of the Aussiespeed manifolds has been explored yet.

G'day all.

Off the line in first wheel spin all the way (one wheel anyway) then grabbed second. Didn't really make much off a difference if short shifted or not. Don't know why, but I beat a VG Hardtop with 265 Hemi with triples and auto. I think just a strong engine originally as one of the 160HP VF's. Engine has only 60,000k's on it and internally never been touched. Some just much be a bit stronger than the others for some reason. I've taken it out to nearly 6500rpm but when hits about 5300 power drops off. Mind you it does a really good skid, sometimes it gets both wheels going :D

Anyway, if anyone interested have the extractors and manifold for sale. Again would like to post some pictures including the time slip from Willowbank but have no idea how to work forums properly.

Cheers, John

Maybe you need some sticky tyres John, or you could try dropping the pressure in what you've got now. Once you get it to hook up you'll see that ET drop. :D

P.S. hope you were high and dry during the recent floods.

Yeah spot on about tyre pressures. Anyway will be back after rebuild. If the wife allows me going to supercharge it. Not worried about ET's, just a cruiser that's different

I was lucky not in floods myself, but family and friends lost the lot. All good but, as the Aussie spirit really comes through in times like this.

Cheers John

You're not wrong there. Unfortunately there's been to many "times like this" lately. Cyclones, storms, floods, storm surge tides, fires, fire storms.......what's next, earthquake!!!!!! I think it's time Aus had a holiday from natural disasters.
