I'm trying to remove the glove box knob on my Dart. There is a tiny hole in the middle, but prodding around in there with a stiff wire didn't produce any results. I couldn't seem to locate any mention of it in the FSM, either. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Turns out the little shiny knob doesn't come off. But I happened to turn things just right, while applying a slight amount of pressure, and the knob and shaft popped out of the tumbler? so I managed to get it apart.

If you get really really lucky you might be able to slide a piece of metal in and release the clasp. Other than that you could break the clips off the bottom of the rugged ridge glove box lock kit but I don't think it will open still because of the third connection. Good luck though.
