I wanted to know what trannys can bolt up to a 225 /6, preferably a stick. Im new to the forum and after lurkin around i decided to join. I'm mainly interested for gas milage than all out performance. I currently have a 69 el camino with 355 and would like to put a slant in there for in town driving and commuting. currently have a th350 trsanny in it. how different are mopar a body to GM? anyone try this before. any help of info would be appreciated.

I do like the idea,I get so sick of seeing mopar street rods with stupid 350 chebbies in them. You'll need to check for cross member and pass. side fenderwell problems.Remember mopars use torsion bars instead of coil springs,so the engine bay is wider.
