Just a question for you all out slant builders. Have any of you thought about machining away your old cylinders and installing siamesed wet sleeves like they use in the 1.8L Honda race engines? I would think that using an aluminum block would work very well with this combination. I'm sure that a sleeve manufacturer like L.A. Sleeve would be able to make anything you want. This would also give you the ability to run a bigger bore than stock. So let's hear it. I bet Team Green has already looked at this. I don't plan on doing this myself anytime in the near future, but it would be interesting to see it. Your opinions?

There was someone on .com a while back who claimed they were going to bore a block completely out and sleeve for the bigger bore. Never did hear if it came about or not.

How would you support the top of the sleeve on an aluminum block?
