I got my set of side draft carbs home that I bought from Dart Girl. I bought them sight unseen, and thought they would be Webers. I have a polished Clifford intake, and a set of side draft carbs that appear to be 40-44mm or so. They have S&K Racing stamped into the top covers and also have little metal tags on them that say TWM Induction, Galbreth, CA. They also have #8 AN fuel inlet fittings on the air horn side and #6 AN fittings on the tops. I'll get some pics of them tomorrow and see if I can get Doc to post them for me.

Also, Lou your header is here.

Carbs? TWM is the name of the company the Drakes got their throttle bodies from.

Thanks for the info guys! I saw reference to S&K Racing side drafts in there. I'll e-mail them and see if they can tune me up. Looks like they have moved on from carbs.

Dartgirl over on moparts? Aw man, I remember when she got that multi-carb setup. She was really excited about eventually putting them on. I guess she decided not to. I was hoping to see the results. If it's the same person, she has an awesome '72 dart swinger. Actually, I probably wouldn't have seen the results for some time, as I quit going there. The whole atmosphere had really gone into the crapper, and a mod was acting like Hitler, deleting whole threads containing posts he (or she?) didn't agree with. Without harping on the subject anymore, I decided that I just didn't need to be around that...so I stopped being around it. In any case, I hope you have good results with those carbs. I seriously doubt you would get ripped off by Dartgirl.

If they're not Webers they could be Dellorttos which are also Italian and look similar.

S&K carbs are webber workalikes. They can use webber parts and pieces. If you don't want them send them my way, I'll pay shipping.

That's a very generous offer kesteb, but I think I'll be forced to pass.

I'm pretty sure they are stamped "Made in Japan", so I think D'ellorto's are out. :D

What you've got there are Mikuni carbs. Weber work/look alikes made in Japan. They are a great carb, some may say better than Webers. After all, they are made in Japan, not Italy. You ever known anything from Italy to work right? (FIAT, ahem)
