Found a brand new Mopar Purple Shaft at a flea market with new lifters still in the cellophane. It has part #P4529340' Hydraulic,.398 lift, 240 duration ,overlap 24, centerline 106. How much bang should I expect out of this? I have a Super Six 2 barrel intake W/ Holley 350. what else should make this work to its best advantage? Can I use stock rocker arms? My engine is a 225 1970 Dodge truck auto W/3.73 gears. Oh I paid $15 for it!

If you want to use the hydraulic cam and lifters you have to use the hydraulic rocker gear and pushrods. This cam I would expect to have zero performance improvement over the 244° duration, 26° overlap mechanical cam.

What is my stock cams specs? If I did decide to use this, which rocker arms will interchange, I mean what yrs? I thought I got a good deal. Why would Direct Connection waste time with a below stock grind cam? I dunno?

That is a "smokin" deal, for $15.00, but only if you can use it. If you were rebuilding a hydraulic engine, as a pretty much stock, daily driver, you couldn't do better.
