Are the Edelbrock IAS shocks still the 'good' ones most people here are buying? I need a set for my '71 Dart w/ 8 3/4 rear. What kind/part numbers do I need? I want to be sure I get the right ones.
Cheapest place online to get them?

i got mine from summit a couple years ago. i believe they went for about $79 ea. i'm sure you could find them cheaper somewhere else, but i like summit because they ship fast and are really great about returns.

i'd suggest not dropping money for the shocks unless you've taken a good look at your suspension. i thought the shocks would really help in making a smoother ride, but everything down there works together with eachother. so grab some torsion bars to pair with the shocks and make sure your bushings are all good.

I did everything on my suspension a year ago, but got cheapy shocks due to budget. One failed so i'm getting good shocks now.

I like the IAS shocks quite a bit in my '73 Dart with stock suspension in good condition. Had one boot failure, and there is a possibility (slight and uninvestigated) that one of them is creating a particular noise in my car.

I am a fan of these for a street car. Better handling AND better ride than cheapy shocks.

I did have one come shipped with a faulty gas cylinder (no pressure), but Summit replaced and didn't even want the bad one back.

I have them on my '64 and '68 Darts all around.

Summit sells two diff part #'s for A-body Mopars, but they are only different colors, even though their names might be slightly different... :?

I can't find any coupon codes for summit and i'm about to spend just over $300. Does anyone have a coupon code for them?
