Does anyone make a bolt on linkage for a '67 cable operated 1920 carb to a 65 linkage type throttle> Its the U shaped bracket that has slots in it that the L shaped throttle rod rides in? I 'gave' my friend my perfectly running '67 carb but had to concoct a way to fasten his L rod to the cable type linkage. The old Carter linkage is peened onto the old shaft so I could not make use of it in the 3 hours that we had to do the carb swap, and distributor replacement. Getting the "proper linkage" 1920 carb is not in the budget at the moment. Guys got a cool 64 'vert but the motor just seems tired and the suspension is weak. Lack of timing gun really set us back too.
