has anyone had the center link hit the back of the oil pan. Motor mounts are new. The trans mount is old but not broken.

This happens when an early A-body doesn't have the proper oil pan like my '66 Barracuda which has a late A-body oil pan.

no this is a 71 Duster with original slant 6.

had a similar problem it turned out to be a worn out idler arm.
