Everything seems good on my dart however I have seen mention of certain parts I should have in reserve, I wanted to know what y'all think is a must have so I don't end up stranded!

ballast resistor and fuses, are the two things i would think of first, spare hei unit if you have done the hei conversion isnt a bad idea.

Might be a little crazy but apart from everyday tools I'd think gasket glue (something crazy), and egg/minties, something to recharge battery.

And from experience it's useful to have some other clips and hose for the radiator lieing around.

Always review the vehicle's spare tire and jack, make sure everything is there and working... before you need it.
( I make my young adult drivers change a tire in our driveway... as a test, doing this checks the equipment and their skill level / knowledge)
The only other stuff I carry is a quart of oil, jumper cables and a empty gas can. ( my gas gage is inconsistant)

I concentrate on those things that could fail and prevent me from limping home. If everything on the car is near new, other than having a spare tire & jack, I'd think about the ignition system.

Electronic devices exposed to heat and/or HV are usually the most likely things to fail suddenly, so I *always* carry a replacement ignition module, even if the one I have is new. My Mopar orange box died suddenly @ 2K miles, and I've had a couple of other boxes die even though they were only a few years old. If you're running points, carry spare points and *condensor*.

I've had a couple of (2wire) voltage regulators fail after only a few K miles, so I carry a spare for them too. A bad coil-to-distributor HV lead caused me lots of hard-to-isolate grief, so I always carry one of them too (loosing one cylinder is bad, loosing them all is worse).

Old coils (>30yrs, >100K miles) can die suddenly too, so I carry a spare. I also cary a spare cap & rotor, but that's perhaps overkill.

also i never took the roll of fusible link out of my glove box after i bought it, so i guess technically i carry a spare roll of fusible link

No matter what emergency kit you put together, you're practically guaranteed to have every tool except the one you need, and ever part except the one that's failed! Seriously, I no longer try to carry around most of a parts store in my trunk.

One cautionary note about spare tires: Tires deteriorate with age, not just with usage. They are subjected to the same extremes of heat and cold as the rest of the tires, and most spare tires are in extremely- to dangerously-poor condition (even though they look new) because most of us don't change them every few years as we do our regular tires. Treat the spare tire as a very temporary limp-slowly-to-nearest-tire-store item only.

My kit is two part: cell phone; and AAA card.

The only spare part I carry on board, and this the Dart only the Lebaron has no spare parts, is a ballast resistor.

However, that is not to say I don’t have necessary stuff in the trunk. Each car has a tin of liquid glass, some quick show shine stuff, tire dressing, glass cleaner, rags, and a selection of old Chrysler brochures… Oh one more thing, a folding chair.

If it breaks I drag it home and fix it. So far preventive maintenance has kept the hook at bay.

Not sure if this would ever happen to you, but having money in the car has been useful to me, been stranded plenty of times without a way of getting cash easily.
