1st off I'm never going to sell my Mopar. This car made a 700 mile round trip flawlessly and has been the most dependable car I've ever had and I've had Fords, Jaguars, Nissans, Volvos and everything else under the sun plus ONE AND THE LAST CHEVY I'LL EVER OWN.

I loved my Jaguar. Whenever I think of it I get VERY nostalgic and think about when my wife and I started dating and oh man...She looked SO SEXY driving that car...*Drool*

Anyways I think a Jaguar XK engine is a lot like playing on a pond that's frozen over and it's 50 degrees out. Something's bound to go wrong, but you never know when! My 85 XJ6 made it from Rhode Island to Florida, living in Florida for a year and driving back to Rhode Island with NO problems..But once again, they have XK engines that robustly consume gasoline and require "the good stuff" for gas.

I've been kicking around this idea and I can't see why this wouldn't work:
I'd love to pick up a 1980-87 Jaguar XJ6 that has a blown engine and put a slant six in it. Is it possible? They put Chevy engines in it and still use the same Jaguar differential...I was just wondering if a slant with an A904 would fit in there! Now THAT would be ONE SWEET "JAGUAR"....Sadly and probably the most reliable Jaguar ever made ahaha...

Oh wow and I even commented on it lol. That's embarrassing....

I still think it'd be a fairly easy swap, no?
