i had a weiand 2 barrel with a 500 2 barrel holley and it wasn't enough the hurricane 4 barrel inproved everything, idle, throttle response, et, mph, ect... my car weighs 3250 with driver so i'm thinking that tuning it to 6000 rpm max with lots down low and mid range would give me my best et. i still think my cylinder head is more of a restriction than the intake.

Never had a Wieand. Yes, head is probably the bigger restriction, but I have done back-back testing with Offy and Clifford and others have too - Offy better low end, Cliff better high end.
