Hi

I'm about to try work out how to set up my kick down cable system, I am pretty sure it was the Lokar system? the one that costs $25.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction of how I should do this? I've never done this kind of thing before and am a little lost...

Thanks.

What gearbox and carburetor are you running?
Here's some pics from VH770 over on moparmarket.

I am just putting a Lokar kickdown cable on my 904 Torqueflite in my AP5 wagon.
I am doing it with the gearbox still in the car and it is a pain in the a#*e.
I have had to drop the exhaust out of the way,i may even have to take the rear oil line off to get the cable connected to the lever on the box.
I will be running a Carter BBD high top.
A slant 6 2 barrel accelerator bracket(Australian) with a bracket welded
on underneath will work for both cables.
I will get you a photograph of the bracket i will be using.

Hey,

Thank-you very much for that! Quite helpful. I'm not looking forward to getting under the car to complete this little project.

A photo of the bracket you use you would be great!

Hopefully will take a stab at mine in the next week or so, and get some kind of positive result.

Thanks again!
