i have read the late model alternator thread - and searched -will the late model denso work in a a100 - was at the pull at part looking for a few things - all the denso alts i saw look like they have a different width between the 2 mounting tab holes then the one on my a100 - oo3

I just put a large GM one wire on mine, 67 a100. I had to cut the bottom mount and flip it around, then weld it. The upper bracket still worked.

let me try and ask this a different way - if i understand correctly i could use the same stock mopar alt in my a100 or a truck or dart etc ( just to be clear - i checked online part #s for one chain - and the same #s were used for all 3 vehicle models mentioned above - and no i will not be buying any of their reman stuff) - now if you are putting a denso alt in your dart lets say - do you have to do any mounting mods - or is it a direct bolt on - oo3

The first post in this section is a sticky titled "Electrical FAQ". In this post is a link to: "The Great Late-Model Alternator Thread"

This should tell you everything you need to know.

yes like i said in first post i have read that - i did see about possibly having to shave 1/8 off a mount - it just seemed like the denso alts i looked at had more of a difference then that - but i could be looking at this incorrectly - i will double check - oo3
