I put together a package that I thought was a good deal (with the millage) how ever no joy on the sale.

So I am either just going to junk it and save the hassle or strip it for parts..

Carb
gas pump
manufold with heat riser
starter
air cleaner
radiator..all for the /6 of course.

Is there anything else of value ? What should I ask ? Shipping to the USA would be a killer so I am thing local..

Appreciate the help.

Wait, what are you trying to say here? Do you have a car you're parting out or are you trying to sell all these parts as a package deal?

Sorry, being dense.

I own a '75 Duster with a matching numbers /6 with just over 37K miles on it. I had the carb rebuilt last year and put a new fuel pump on it...

I have pulled the complete drivetrain out of the car and are only re using the driveshaft.

I have been trying to sell the /6 225 ci engine, trans, rear end, rad, most of the exhaust, etc ...looks like I am going to just haul it down to the scrap yard however, the above pieces may be worth a few bucks ..

I have been asked to sell individul pieces and I have absolutely no idea what they are worth. Apparently, I asked too much for one guy and rather than negotiating, he tore a strip off me...

Can you help ?

Ian.

Ok in that case, those are my guestimates is the parts are in average useable condition. Carb may be worth more since it's rebuilt. Starter and fuel pump might be worthless. People are always in need of exhaust manifolds but it has to be crack free and not warped. Some people may try and squeeze out more $$$ but I'm always the type of guy that will charge the bare minimum for slant 6 stuff since I know people out there really need it and usually don't have a ton of money if they're working with slants.

The valve cover and manifold mounting hardware also have some value.

If at all possible, don't scrap it or part it. That setup could be a great bartering piece or a way to make a few bucks and future parts connections, if you can store it.

You have a point. At the above quoted prices..a new gas pump for 5 bucks for instance, it isn't worth my time to undo the bolts..it is not hurting me where it is..I now need to know the scrapper's price for the engine/trans and rear end,,,

thanks
ian.

too bad you are so far away, I assume you are going w/ a small block, or a big block? If you were closer, would do some trading w/ you.
