I am going to buy a new distributor from Old Car Parts Northwest but I wanted to check which model first. From what i've found on here a distributor ending in part number '714 or '082 should have a good drivable/economy curve right out of the box. I also saw mentions of stock 'super six' distributors? My engine is basically stock with supersix (2280), 2.25" exhaust, and electronic ignition. Should I use a super six distributor? Is there a part number for it? Differences? Thanks...

All the distributors OCPNW has in stock have decent-to-good curves on them. An '082, a '714, an '876 -- all fine.
