All painted and looking great. Still needs to be wet sanded and buffed. Should be done tomorrow. I'll get a picture of it outside in the sun. Indoor light just isn't the same.

Happy birthday!

You know, as late as the early part of last century, they actually used to call us middle-aged!

We had restrictions on purchase of cars in Norway after WW2, to avoid currency going out of the country during the hard times of rebuilding, and it went on right up to the end of the fifties. One memory from childhood, is of all the daddys coming home from work. Tired old men, walking heavily down the street where we lived, wearing a hat was a necessity at the time, heavy overcoat, and some kind of a flat leather bag popular at that time, no matter how kind of work you had. At the time, my old dad must have been, oh, I guess, hmmm, almost 33...

Olaf.

Well, It finally has paint. :D :D I am about dead tired from all that blocking and sanding and washing and cleaning ..etc. But I am extremely pleased with the results. Special thanks to my friend, Rob Daywalt (A true craftsman) who painted the car and helped me decide to go ahead and do it right. I'm glad I did.

Yes I am pleased. As a matter of fact I think I may just go to the garage and set in my lawn chair and just look at it for a bit. :D :D

I got to see the car in person last night at Dads 50th birthday party. I can guarantee you it looks great in person too! Definitely the best paint job any car in our family has ever had! It will look even better going down the track. Hopefully he'll be racing it soon!!!!
