I adjusted the valves tonight, and noticed there is considerable side to side play in the rockers. The engine has not run enough do gunk it up, so you hear a fair amount of noise from it. By considerable I mean maybe 1/16" on some but not all. All have some. Does anybody every try to tighten this up a bit by blueprinting the spacers?

Sam

Mine where the same way after I had adjusted them and seemed normal to me not excessive and runs really quite. Just make sure you go thru the adjustment with the next size up feeler gage up to check the tightness of the gap a few times using it as a reference. But as far as I know the looseness is normal. -R-
