I've been trolling ebay, craigslist, etc, looking for used headers, but as time goes by I've noticed that almost all headers are for high mount starters and my truck is low mount. From the pictures it looks like 3 into 1 headers will have at least one of them pointing straight at the starter (I do have a mini starter, but it's still too crowded to run a pipe beside it) so I'm beginning to wonder if it's possible to use headers not specifically for the low mount starter situation.

Does anyone have any experience in this?
