I want to build a street/strip 225. I am looking for a Slant to build, any particular years good to look for? currently have a 1968 225 in the car but want to build a new spare to drop in.
Any thoughts on cylinder heads, ? how much to mill head? how much to bore .030 or .060, what pistons to use?

It's been a few years and with age trouble remembering what I did last time, lol.

Hey Bobby,

Check out the Frequently Asked Questions Sticky at the top of this section. Go to the Engine Build Matrix thread. There are several good combinations and some good info listed there.

That will likely get your creative juices flowing on your build.

Depending on your goals and budget, there are lots of good options out there. :D
