Its a factory radio delete truck,my question is: Does it still have the wiring/connectors to install a radio? Or will I have to add them? Never had a radio delete car/truck before.

Jared

Yes and no. The dash harness likely has the power supply plug for the factory radio, but you probably don't have the speaker wiring harnesses.

Thanks Reed,I wonder what all years/models will work for me? I know I could just put in a cd player but I am trying to do this as cheap as possible.

You are in luck- Chrysler standardized their stereos and plugs from the late 70s through the early 90s. Search in boneyards for Chrysler 5th Avenues and upscale minivans to get some nice factory stereo options. If you want, you can probably pull the speaker wiring harness out of pretty much any 80s era truck or ramcharger, but the speakers would be fairly easy to wire. If you go with a factory deck, be sure to get the factory speakers so the ohm and watt rating of the speakers are matched to the output of the deck.

when roaming around the salvage yards and looking at D-150's for radio gear,
flip the seat forward and check the area where the shoulder harness reels are located,, there was an optional package that put speakers back in there,, I have seen those on a few D-150's ,,there is a nice fabricated bracket to mount speakers that fits the space well.
