Spent a nice day at the shop today and did absolutely nothing Slant related.

Loaded up the red bike to put it away for the winter.

Stopped at Menard's on the way down and picked up some stuff to make a "bumper" in the front of the bed on my red Dakota. Now I can load a bike in there without having to put blocks in front of it to keep the front fender from hitting the rail on the bed.

Lowered the silver bike so it is level again, and took the sidestand to Patrick so he can shorten and reweld it.

Patrick and I rode all the way up to the local restaurant (3 blocks) for lunch. His choppa sure do be purty, but it won't wheelie like my red bike does.

Took both bikes out for a spin. It's amazing how 2 supposedly identical bikes can have such different personalities. But hey, having 2 200 MPH bikes at your disposal is still damn cool.

hey Bagel I have acsess to a Yamaha racing bike that has the ow31 engine on it and won the Daytona 200 race two times. I could do 200 with restrior plate on the lectron carbs. want to race. just kidding doint want to race. The bike was rode by Dale Singleton from Dalton and his brother has the bike. Dale won the Daytona 200 twice and finished second one time. Thanks your old buddy Possum

Had a tire mounted and balanced for the Piggie. Spent most of the day processing scrap -ready to haul - feel like something out of The Road Warrior! Went Chirstmas shoppin' for Mater - need to put it in the mail - don't worry it's not a muzzle! I did not have as much fun as Big D as I lack a 200 mph crotchamatic. The gal I teach with that just bought the LeBaron her hubby is set to deliver a boat load of venison on Sun. He loves to hunt - I like to eat - works well. just had to pay for the processing. All in all a good weekend!

I've just about got the Duster ready to fire up.

I got all the wiring and plumbing hooked back up today.

I just need to adjust all the valves before the initial fire up and I'll be ready for some test & tune.

That's not a half bad idea Bagel. They really enjoy it when I fire up one of my hot rods. I'll take a couple of them with me when it's time to fire it up and I'll let them hit the start button.
