my car came with these, personally i think they are stupid (mostly because i dont have a good enough tool to use to make them tight) and they are steel.

could i get away with using brass fittings, which ones and which thread, These are NTP correct?

some thread sealer . a small piece of steel( used like big screwdriver) and adjustable wrench...
