Trying to find a place to buy the CH410x dist. cap. Where does everyone buy theirs? How much should I expect to spend?I found a few on ebay for 21.00 shipped,is that a good deal?

They seem to be a bit hard to find. I don't think I saw it listed at RockAuto, but did find it on Amazon through one of their partners, Parts Boulevard. I paid $11.13 plus shipping of $9.99 - so your eBay price of $21 sounds pretty comparable. I got mine just a month ago, and that's the best deal I could find.

CH410X is discontinued, replaced by CH-410, which used to be the basic black cap but is now the better blue one -- but there's still old black stock in the warehouses, so it's a bit of a gamble what you'll get.

the (2) I bought from Summit Racing were Black caps ,and were in crusty old boxes. Internals are brass.

Too bad we couldn't get a limited run of CH-403's with the blue plastic/ copper treatment like the 410X.... I recently got an NOS one at a reasonable price and think these might work for the multispark drag race crowd or for those running a fair amount of advance....

You can definately tell that there was quality control in those older runs of caps...

Seems very nice. Nice thick quality plastic,brass inserts,and the quality control seems to be good. Overall im happy,and excited to do my ignition upgrade and see how it all works.
