The car has provided better power and mileage since the super six conversion on my '72 Valiant with 225 but I am battling rocker arm adjusters that are backing off and causing the valvetrain to become noisy. I want to fix this since this was never an issue before I had the head milled. I had .085 milled from the head and used a felpro head gasket. should I order pushrods that are shorter by the milled amount and headgasket difference from stock steel shim to felpro?
I had to back the adjusters about 2 full turns when the head was milled and then tightened them accordingly to get the lash set. I will pull the valve cover to see how many are affected. Would you guys just try to fix/replace the loose rocker arms? I have found one slant at the yard that I can buy the rocker assembly from. Just wondering what would be the smartest route to correct this....thanks!

A jam nut on the rocker arms should do the trick......
