Can the four piston K-H disk brake calipers be used with later passenger car big ball joint knuckles?

I have never heard of anyone trying, but if it did wouldn't that also mean that you could swap a later single piston in place of the rare/expensive 4 piston parts. So my guess is no.

Last spring I rebuilt the K-H brakes on my car, and I’m considering big ball joint knuckle up grade. Being a piker, keeping perfectly good K-H calipers & their plumbing crossed my mind.

Probably selling good condition K-H stuff, and installing later model single piston big ball joint set-up would be just as efficient.

OK, but WHY do you want the larger upper ball joint? If you change the bolt pattern on the front of the car what are you going to do for the rear? How about wheels?

I’ll get new wheels, and re drill the 8 ¾ rear for large bolt pattern I guess. This is just a whim at the moment.
